Bringing Awareness to ACEs

Introduce key programs designed to address ACEs, like educational workshops and community support groups.

Preventive Programs

Our preventive programs aim to create a safe and supportive environment for children and families. We provide resources and support to help prevent and mitigate the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences

Healing Through Play

We help children ages

5–12 process trauma through structured play and recreation. Activities include guided play therapy with certified therapists, family play days to foster bonding, and team-building through sports and outdoor activities.

Youth Resilience Program

We empower youth ages 8–18 from at-risk communities with tools to build resilience through mentoring, after-school programs in well-being and leadership, and art and music therapy.

Family Support Programs

We support parents, guardians, and caregivers dealing with the effects of ACEs in their families through monthly support groups, stress management and self-care workshops, home visits, and access to professional counseling resources.

Hope Builders Mentorship Program

We promote generational healing by pairing experienced mentors with young adults and parents overcoming the effects of ACEs. Our program includes one-on-one mentoring, monthly group outings, skill-building workshops, career coaching, and scholarship opportunities.

Peer Mentorship

We connect participants with trained peer mentors who offer guidance, encouragement, and understanding. Activities include weekly one-on-one check-ins, goal-setting sessions to support personal growth and healing, and sharing resources to build coping strategies and resilience.

Education & Training Workshops

Through advocacy initiatives, we strive to raise awareness and influence policies that address the root causes of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). We believe in creating a better future for all children.

ACES Awareness Workshops

We educate parents, educators, and community leaders about ACEs, their long-term effects, and coping strategies through keynote sessions with experts, breakout discussions with counselors and life coaches, and resource fairs featuring local mental health and family services.

Legacy Leadership Academy

We empower emerging community leaders, teens, and young adults by developing their leadership skills to inspire change and raise ACEs awareness. Activities include public speaking and advocacy training, guidance on starting grassroots initiatives, and hosting an annual ACEs Awareness Summit led by program graduates.

ACEs-Informed Faith Series

We integrate faith-based principles with ACEs awareness to provide holistic support. Through Bible studies on healing, faith and mental health seminars, and partnerships with churches to create ACEs-aware ministries, we equip faith-based organizations to support their communities.

Collaborative Parternships

We form collaborative partnerships with various stakeholders to develop comprehensive strategies and solutions for addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Together, we can make a difference.

Fists in Solidarity

Annual Family Legacy Day

We celebrate family resilience by creating positive shared memories through interactive workshops on family traditions, a day of fun activities with games, food, and performances, and story-sharing sessions about overcoming adversity and building lasting legacies. These activities are designed for families in the community to connect, heal, and strengthen their bonds.

ACES Jeep Club Events

We use the Jeep Club to promote ACEs awareness and raise funds through community rides with awareness banners, fundraising events like charity drives and car shows, and partnerships with schools and nonprofits for educational outreach.

Back to School and

Beyond Initiative

We prepare children for academic success while addressing ACEs-related challenges through back-to-school giveaways, family workshops on positive learning environments, and year-round tutoring and mentoring programs for students and their families.
